I’m currently a student at Olympia School Advanced Skincare for my Master Esthetics license with the new market program. i started going to Olympia Advanced skincare for services and loved the environment so much when I heard they had a program catered to high schoolers I had to take the opportunity. I will be able to attend both high school and this school and graduate both places with my diploma and certificate at the same time. I am learning so much with this program and the instructors are amazing!
This school is amazing! I’m a hands on learner so I LOVE that the instructors aren’t just assigning homework and lectures, they are introducing the material and at the same time allowing us to have hands on learning to make sure we are understanding and applying all aspects of being a great esthetician.

I’m currently attending OSAS for their master esthetics program and I love it. Jin, Courtney, and Alex (the instructors) are all so sweet and helpful. Not only do they educate you on how to pass state boards but they also teach you how to be successful in the industry. If you’re interested in going to school and becoming an esthetician I 100% recommend coming here I love the dynamic all of the girls have created with each other. I have learned so much already and can’t wait to be licensed
I started the Master Esthetics program in November and can say this has been a great experience. The instructors are very knowledgable, kind and supportive. I chose this school for their part time curriculum and their hands on training. If you’re looking for an esthetic school that creates a balance between work life/kids and still getting your license while having an immense amount of support this school is for you!! I had a good experience. It’s really evident that everyone in charge cares about the students attending, and will help them any time they need it. I have plenty of state board practice which makes me feel confident for my upcoming exams. I think the one thing that might improve the school is having one more instructor/an assistant to help during hands on learning, just so everyone is extra secure in what they’re doing. I feel I used some of the best of best products and tools to learn, and I’m very grateful for that! Schools can easily charge more for less, but Jin made sure we always had what we needed, in the best quality, and more.
To anyone wanting to start their dream career, this is the place to be!!! Everything about this school, the environment, the instructors, the curriculum, and the amount of effort everyone puts in to make you feel confident, is unbelievable. Blessed is a complete understatement of how I feel going to this school!!!!

We can’t say enough wonderful things about Hannah @houseofjupiter Hannah visits our school every quarter to discuss body waxing, sugaring and her experience as a local business owner. She certifies professionals in advanced body waxing and when she has a little more time after her lecture, she also does piercings at our school.
You can find Hannah locally at her business in Lacey and you can also catch her @swaenightmarket and @pnw_womensnetwork We know you will love Hannah just as much as we do for all of your waxing, sugaring, facials and piercing needs.
Today was a busy week for our December Students. Not all are featured in this post, but don’t worry…we will be posting more of our amazing December Students journey over the next few weeks. This is the time they will start actually doing some more hands-on and we are just as excited as they are.
This week students were able to check out @biotherapeutic in Seattle Washington, and as tradition stands, they received their BT-Ultrasonic Slim Devices. They also observed the new Biotherapeutics Wet and Dry Microdermabrasion Device that we love so much at our own school.
Lastly, they had the opportunity to see what’s under the woods lamp and how to identify key areas on the skin in preparation of learning proper consultation and skin analysis. We are looking forward to next weeks lessons and “hands on!”
As we are at the start of the New Year, I asked myself, what would I tell the 18 year old me as I reflect on the last 26 years.

Every New Class experiences the first 5-6 weeks covering some of the most essential topics in Our Industry. This week, our students focused on layers of the skin and the importance of knowing each layer and how treatments within the spa room affect each layer specifically the ones that are within our scope of practice.
They learn how to engage with clients by asking the right questions and being able to educate the client with a basic understanding of the top layer of skin. It was interesting to hear one of the layers of the skin that surprised most students as every single one were surprised by the Basal Layer.
It’s awesome to see the amount of dedication and hard work that went into these projects. It allowed students to not only explore the science side of our industry, but also the creative and healing side of every experience.
