Flexible Full-Time Programs
At Olympia School of Advanced Skincare, we understand the importance of having schedules that fit into your day-to-day life. While we exclusively offer full-time programs, our schedules are tailored based on feedback from previous students. Our class schedules are as follows:
- Hybrid Program: Monday – Wednesday In Person Training (8:30 am – 4:30 pm) / Online Training that can be done anytime during the remaining days of the week.
- We’re New Market Partners! Ask your school counselor about our master’s program so you can get a head start on your beauty education! (New Market is not a Hybrid Program)

This school is amazing! I had a good experience. It’s really evident that everyone in charge cares about the students attending, and will help them any time they need it. I have plenty of state board practice which makes me feel confident for my upcoming exams. I think the one thing that might improve the school is having one more instructor/an assistant to help during hands on learning, just so everyone is extra secure in what they’re doing. I feel I used some of the best of best products and tools to learn, and I’m very grateful for that! Schools can easily charge more for less, but Jin made sure we always had what we needed, in the best quality, and more.
This beauty school is amazing. Atmosphere is great and very welcoming by instructors and students. This beauty school offers plenty of services to choose from which is great due to the fact there are some beauty schools that do not offer lash lifts or extensions or brow laminations. You can tell that the students are very well trained at this school by knowledgeable instructors. Highly recommend

Enrollment & Admission FAQs
There are no prerequisites to enroll in our Basic or Combined Basic + Master Esthetics courses! A valid WA State Esthetics License is only required if you’re applying for our Instructor’s Program, or Master Esthetics (450 Hours) Program. The Master Esthetics (450 Hours) are for already Licensed Basic Esthetics Professionals seeking to expand their expertise and enhance their professional value.
We have start dates four times a year. Class sizes are limited to only 10 students per class. Because of our smaller class sizes, our Esthetics Instructors can provide more personalized and one-on-one education. If you are thinking about pursuing an esthetics education, act fast to secure your spot in our next class!
We encourage every student to visit our facilities for a tour. During your visit, you’ll have the opportunity to discover more about our school, ask any questions you may have, and possibly see some of our students in action. This is your chance to get a firsthand look at what we offer and see if we’re the right fit for you.
We help students get ready for their careers through our Externship Program. We partner with top salons and spas nearby, giving students hands-on experience and training. While we can’t promise a job, this program helps students build relationships with salon staff, increasing their chances of finding opportunities after graduation.

We can’t say enough wonderful things about Hannah @houseofjupiter Hannah visits our school every quarter to discuss body waxing, sugaring and her experience as a local business owner. She certifies professionals in advanced body waxing and when she has a little more time after her lecture, she also does piercings at our school.
You can find Hannah locally at her business in Lacey and you can also catch her @swaenightmarket and @pnw_womensnetwork We know you will love Hannah just as much as we do for all of your waxing, sugaring, facials and piercing needs.
Today was a busy week for our December Students. Not all are featured in this post, but don’t worry…we will be posting more of our amazing December Students journey over the next few weeks. This is the time they will start actually doing some more hands-on and we are just as excited as they are.
This week students were able to check out @biotherapeutic in Seattle Washington, and as tradition stands, they received their BT-Ultrasonic Slim Devices. They also observed the new Biotherapeutics Wet and Dry Microdermabrasion Device that we love so much at our own school.
Lastly, they had the opportunity to see what’s under the woods lamp and how to identify key areas on the skin in preparation of learning proper consultation and skin analysis. We are looking forward to next weeks lessons and “hands on!”
As we are at the start of the New Year, I asked myself, what would I tell the 18 year old me as I reflect on the last 26 years.

Every New Class experiences the first 5-6 weeks covering some of the most essential topics in Our Industry. This week, our students focused on layers of the skin and the importance of knowing each layer and how treatments within the spa room affect each layer specifically the ones that are within our scope of practice.
They learn how to engage with clients by asking the right questions and being able to educate the client with a basic understanding of the top layer of skin. It was interesting to hear one of the layers of the skin that surprised most students as every single one were surprised by the Basal Layer.
It’s awesome to see the amount of dedication and hard work that went into these projects. It allowed students to not only explore the science side of our industry, but also the creative and healing side of every experience.
