At Olympia School of Advanced Skincare, our Combined Basic + Master Esthetics (1200 hours) course is for those ready to take their skills to the next level! Students will learn and have hands on cutting-edge technologies and services, including Hydrafacials, Chemical Peels, LED Light Therapy, Ultrasonic Treatments, Microneedling, Microcurrent, and Advanced Skin Modalities. Specialized Treatments:
Train in a wide variety of advanced services such as, Hydrafacials, Advanced Chemical Peels, LED Light Therapy, Ultrasonic Treatments, Microcurrent, Microneedling and Advanced Skin Modalities. These services are increasingly in demand and essential for today’s results-driven skincare market.

Advanced Skin Analysis:
Go beyond basic observation with in-depth diagnostic techniques. You’ll learn to assess skin using digital imaging systems, Woods lamp, and magnification tools to evaluate underlying conditions such as pigmentation disorders, dehydration, rosacea, and barrier dysfunction. You’ll develop the ability to identify contributing lifestyle, environmental, and internal factors to create treatment strategies rooted in clinical reasoning.

Ingredient Chemistry & Product Formulation Knowledge:
Dive deep into the science of skincare formulations. Understand how active ingredients such as peptides, growth factors, acids, retinoids, and botanicals interact with different skin types and conditions. You’ll gain the ability to read and interpret product labels, evaluate formulations by pH, delivery systems, and synergistic effects, and recommend products that align with specific treatment goals—building trust and delivering visible results.

Comprehensive Client Consultation:

Your Career As an Esthetician

By enrolling in our Combined Basic + Master Esthetics program, students earn the title of Master Esthetician—gaining advanced knowledge and hands-on training in services such as Hydrafacials, Advanced Chemical Peels, LED Light Therapy, Ultrasonic Treatments, Microcurrent, Microneedling and Advanced Skin Modalities. Master Estheticians have a broader scope of practice, qualifying them to work in medical settings including medical spas, dermatology offices, and plastic surgery clinics, in addition to traditional salons, spas, and wellness centers.

While employment is not guaranteed, Olympia School of Advanced Skincare is committed to career readiness. Through our Externship Program and partnerships with top salons, spas, and medical professionals, students gain invaluable real-world experience. These connections increase exposure, build confidence, and enhance employability in today’s competitive skincare industry.

Combined Basic + Master Esthetics FAQs

What is the difference between your Basic and Master Esthetics Program?

Our Basic Course offers 750 hours of fundamental esthetics training, while the Combined Basic + Master Esthetics Program provides 1200 hours of specialized Advanced Techniques, Modalities and Treatments that only a Master Esthetician can do. For example, a Basic Esthetician cannot perform microneedling or medium depth chemical peels, however, a Master Esthetician can. Enroll in the Combined Basic + Master Esthetics Program to become a Master Esthetician, earning PCA certification in Advanced Chemical Peels and mastering a wider range of services, including Hydrafacials, Dermaplaning, Laser Theory, and additional Advanced Modalities.
