Jin Mi S. Williams
Director | Member, Washington State Board of Cosmetology
Jin Mi S. Williams is an industry architect and a definitive voice in the world of advanced skincare. With a career spanning over two decades, she has evolved from a high profile artist on film and television sets to a state-level regulator, currently serving as a member of the Washington State Board of Cosmetology. Her influence ensures that the next generation of beauty professionals meets a standard of excellence that is both rigorous and revolutionary.
Jin Mi’s journey began in the fast paced markets of New York and Florida, where she refined her craft under celebrity legends like Leslie Christin and Selena Miller. Her prowess in the corporate sector led her to key leadership roles with global giants including Estée Lauder, Yves Saint Laurent, Nars, and Lancôme. Notably, she served as a Regional Trainer for Benefit Cosmetics in New York City, where she was responsible for setting the educational and technical standards for the region.
A licensed Paramedical Esthetician in four states, Jin Mi possesses a rare blend of clinical expertise and business acumen. As a military spouse, she mastered the art of high growth entrepreneurship by building elite, loyal client bases across the country. In 2013, she founded Miss Priss Lash and Brow, an Olympia powerhouse that has grown into a premier salon and spa employing a team of ten top-tier professionals.
Driven by a gap in traditional education, Jin Mi launched the Miss Priss Lash and Brow Academy in 2022 to provide advanced consulting and technical mastery to established professionals. This vision culminated in the founding of the Olympia School of Advanced Skincare, a state-licensed institution dedicated to bridging the divide between basic beauty school and the high demand world of medical esthetics.
Through her seat on the State Board and her commitment to community empowerment, Jin Mi is doing more than just teaching, she is elevating the entire profession. Courtney Roberts
Head Instructor
Courtney Roberts proudly serves as the esteemed Head Instructor at the prestigious Olympia School of Advanced Skincare. With six years of unwavering commitment to the esthetics industry, she has been diligently running her own independent studio and achieving incredible milestones along the way. She has refined her craft, with specializations in Lash Extensions, PMU and advanced techniques related to all things brows. Courtney attributes her skills and expertise to her extensive training at Arch Salon and Spa, where she received her PMU certification, and also at Fosbre Academy, where she graduated in both her Master Esthetics and Instructor Master Esthetics degrees.
Fosbre Academy was where she discovered her passion for teaching. She found myself utterly engrossed in the process, eager to soak up every ounce of knowledge she could and shared it with my students. While she is skilled at performing services, it is her sincere love for guiding and educating aspiring professionals that fills her with pride. There is no greater reward for her than seeing the expressions of satisfaction on her students’ faces when they perfect their practice and come to realize their potential.
Aside from her passion for skincare and beauty, she has an avid love for books, which occupies most of her free time outside of work and family commitments. Speaking of family, her beloved husband and two children are the absolute center of her world, and she cherishes every moment she can spend with them. She believes that being a great leader and mentor begins with a strong sense of self-care, so she always ensures to take time for herself, whether it’s with a captivating novel or enjoying a revitalizing beauty treatment.

If you know me, you know I don’t stick to just one skincare brand. I’m always testing, learning, and evolving my routine. Because in this industry, staying curious matters.
I recently stopped by Sukoshi Mart and honestly… it felt like stepping into a skincare playground. So many Korean skincare lines, innovative ingredients, and formulas that are truly ahead of the game.
